Perth Offshore Boat Angling Club of WA (Inc.)

The Perth Offshore Boat Angling Club of WA (POBAC) is a friendly, community-based fishing club bringing together people who share a passion for offshore boating, recreational fishing, and the great outdoors.

Whether you're an experienced angler, a boat owner, or just beginning your fishing journey, you'll find a welcoming community of members who enjoy sharing knowledge, supporting one another, and making the most of Western Australia's spectacular coastline.

Our members are committed to promoting safe, responsible offshore boating and sustainable fishing practices, while enjoying the camaraderie that comes from spending time on the water together.

Get Involved

We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at the Morley Noranda Recreation Club, with meetings commencing promptly at 7:30pm.

These evenings are a great opportunity to catch up with fellow members, discuss upcoming events, exchange fishing stories and tips, and keep up to date with club activities.

Fishing, Friendship and Adventure

There's always something happening at POBAC. Throughout the year we organise a variety of activities, including:

  • Club fishing competitions
  • Monthly weekend fishing trips
  • Group expeditions to iconic WA destinations such as Coral Bay
  • Social gatherings and networking events
  • Educational opportunities to improve boating and fishing skills

Whether you're chasing your next big catch, learning new techniques, or simply enjoying the company of like-minded people, there's something for everyone.

Our social events are just as important as our fishing adventures. They provide a chance to build lasting friendships, swap stories, share local knowledge, and celebrate the unique lifestyle that recreational fishing offers.

Join Our Community

At POBAC, we believe fishing is about much more than catching fish—it's about adventure, learning, friendship, and enjoying the incredible marine environment we have here in Western Australia.

New members of all ages and experience levels are always welcome. If you're looking for a friendly club where you can improve your skills, explore some of WA's best fishing locations, and become part of a supportive community, we'd love to meet you.
