Noranda Lions played a pivotal part in the recent Lions Children of Courage awards held at MNRC – The Lions WA Children of Courage Award recognises and celebrates remarkable children across Western Australia who have faced, or continue to face, significant adversity in their lives with bravery, resilience, and determination. The programs are fully funded by Lions Clubs throughout Western Australia, shining a light on children who demonstrate courage, strength, and perseverance in the face of illness, disability, trauma, or life-changing challenges. Through recognition and celebration, the program encourages each child on their journey, builds self-esteem, and nurtures a sense of self-worth.
